Accessing Your Texting Betty Settings
The first step is getting to the right place in your Follow Up Boss account. Once you’re logged in, you’ll find Texting Betty as an embedded app within your CRM. From there, navigate to the Usage section and click on the Usage Panel.
If you don’t see the Usage option available in your account, don’t worry. This feature might just need to be enabled for your account. Simply reach out to the Texting Betty support team at support@textingbetty.com, and they’ll activate it for you right away.
Customizing Your Business Hours
Once you’re in the Usage Panel, look for the Settings option and select Business Hours. This is where the magic happens. By default, Texting Betty typically operates Monday through Sunday, sending automated messages throughout the week.
Want to give yourself weekends off? Simply deselect Saturday and Sunday from the list of active days. Need to pause activity on specific days for holidays or special events? Just uncheck those days, click update, and you’re all set. The interface makes it easy to customize exactly when you want your automated texting to run.
Pro tip: If you need to completely pause all Texting Betty operations—perhaps during a company-wide vacation or while you restructure your messaging strategy—you can deselect all days of the week. This effectively stops all automated text messages from going out until you’re ready to turn them back on.
